Arm Implant

Hey everyone!

So 6 days ago I got the arm implant and I’m loving it so far. However the first two-three days I felt nauseous, loopy, and so tired. The next day all those symptoms were gone, but instead I kept getting what I imaged where hot flashes! I just turned 18 last September so I don’t know what hot flashes feel like exactly, but I think that’s what they were. I’m on day 5 and my breasts are extremely sore.

I’m pretty sure my body is just adjusting to the hormones but I’m seriously loving it so much! I tried the non- hormonal IUD and I was in so much pain I had to get it taken out the same day- went to the ER at 1:30 in the morning. I was afraid to try anything else after my IUD experience, but I’m so glad I got my implant and haven’t had much problems with it at all.

Does anybody else have the arm implant? What were your guys experiences on nexplanon or hormones in general?
