When will I get my period if at all?

I'm still really new to this whole birth control thing so I have a question so I just started week 4 of pack #1 on Sunday so day 3 of I guess the not real important ones anyways when should I expect to get my period if at all? I've been told I could get it today if I do at all for this month. Cause my doctor said to continue taking them when I'm done with the first pack to continue with the next one so no break. I'm supposed to do that till I'm done with the first 3 packs(it will take at least 2 for my body to gets used to it) and then we will go from there as we are trying to level out my hormones and trying to fix a issue I might have it's not for sure I even have it... any advice is welcomed..
