Pooping during labor?

I heard that someone women poop while giving birth. How many ladies here did or did not?

I haven't given birth. But I am a birth-photographer. I've captured over 30 births in the last two years and I can say that it's a 50/50! And IF you do, it's completely normal! And it's barely noticeable! it's like a fart basically! (😂) Not bad at all. And there is a nurse there ready to take care of it and not say a thing as soon as it happens! 😘

I'm pretty sure I did with my last baby, but not positive. My midwife had the nurse wipe something up down there but I didn't ask. Lmao. I was too embarrassed to ask my husband too. Hahaha.

I had an epidural and they stuck their fingers down there and said ok push against my fingers like you’re doing a big poo. So yep - totally normal considering it’s basically the same motion!

I was SO worried about this my whole pregnancy. Seriously. I was not as worried about pushing a human out of my vag as I was worried about pooping on the table. And guess what? It happened. And it was literally no big deal. I knew it happened (I had been sick out of both ends my entire labor) and the nurse cleaned it up so quickly. It happens 🤷🏼‍♀️😆

I did with my first child but didn’t wither the other two. But I’ll tell you what, those nurses are quick to take it away before you realize you did it. Very slick.
