Can you baby wear while you’re pregnant?

I have a nearly two year old and I just found out I’m 6 weeks pregnant! (Yay!!) But my son is pushing molar and wants me to carry/hold him all the time. I don’t know of the effects that would have on an early pregnancy. Obviously I will ask my doctor on my first visit but I’d thought to ask her too.

yeah of course you can if you have a healthy pregnancy. women have always needed to continue caring for older children during their pregnancy especially pre-contraception days where spacing pregnancies wasnt much of an option. it shouldnt be an issue.

I wouldn't personally. It puts unnecessary strain on your body. Children are heavy and can get squirmy. Just hugging my son the other day, he kicked me in the stomach by accident. Hard too. Additionally, balance is off while pregnant, and his additional weight can cause you to fall. I understand he wants your closeness, but you aren't hurting him by any means to not baby wear him.

2 year olds are heavy and it depends how far along you are. Why are you babywearing a toddler? 😳 They have legs so they can walk you know
