After sex, what's the best thing to do?

Ladies, hi!!  We're a mid-30s couple TTC for about 3 months now.

I'm wondering... what do you do after sex?? Let the spermies hang inside for a bit, and then drop them off at the pool (toilet)? Go to sleep with them inside? Wipe? I've heard superstitions that you should prop your legs/butt up to help the flow, but medical stats don't seem to support the efficacy of that

It sounds like a silly question, but this inquiring mind wants to know!!  Pls do share :)

My husband and I normally lay around and talk for a bit then I go to bathroom and clean up!

They say that laying there doesn't do anything. They say the sperm that's gets to your cervix will get there right after his ejaculation. So go get a shower or clean up.. 😀

all books ive read say lay for 15min, if u cant it wont DRASTICALLY decrease ur chances.

My dr. said to just lie in bed for 30mins after sex

I've read it helps to lay there for about 20 minutes, so that's what I do. Then I go about my normal business. Good luck!
