How many Christmas presents do you expect from your children’s grandparents

I’m asking because my mother in law has gone out and spent more money than what we have to put more gifts than what we have for our daughter under her own tree for our daughter to unwrap on Christmas Day. I feel like she’s kind of making us look bad, and taking away from our role as Santa/parents because our daughter will have a bunch more presents to open on her first Christmas when we get to our in laws place on Christmas morning. Not to mention my parents have only gotten our daughter one big thing, and a couple small things, as I would expect from GRANDPARENTS, so it makes them look bad by comparison even though I feel they’re behaving appropriately and not overstepping the mark here. Please don’t say I should just be grateful my in laws want to get our daughter so many gifts because I really don’t think it’s right and my mother in law has a habit of doing things like this, not thinking about how it affects others or takes away from others experiences, showing people up to make herself look great, and not consulting us as parents either. I know she will have probably doubled up on gifts we’ve gotten our daughter as she never bothered to ask what we’d gotten her, so I plan to tell her on Christmas Day when our daughter opens something she already has that “Oh Grace already got one of those this morning, so this one can stay at your place for her to play with when she comes over” lol (:
