Leaving baby overnight?

Question

I’m considering leaving my baby overnight next month when she’ll be 7 months old. She would be at our home. My mother in law would come to stay wit her. When did you leave your baby for the first time overnight?

My son is 14 months on Sunday and I still can't imagine leaving him. I wear him and nurse him and we're never apart.

(Forgive my hair and lack of proper make-up ha! 😂)
That said, this isn't always feasible for working moms, etc. I think its honestly when YOU feel comfortable with it. Remember, babies do not comprehend time the same way we do. At 7 months, your baby will be at most, fussy and irritable. Then, when you walk back through the door, will never remember you were gone. Good luck, Hun!

My son will be one next week and I still haven’t left him for more than three hours and that was only because I absolutely had to.

My daughter was nearly 4 the first time she stayed overnight with her grandmother. I couldn't imagine leaving my 8 month old son with anyone, especially overnight.

My baby is coming in January and I have a trip planned for a destination wedding in Mexico in May..... he will be staying with my parents and my in laws for the 4 days we will be gone..... I know he will be more than safe, so I’m not concerned..

I left my eldest for a night at 3 months- I was gone for 3 days (critical care patient so I could leave the hospital- happened right when I went back to work). My husband was with him and our nanny during the day, but I was still a mess. I had to FaceTime home every chance I got. My son was fine- It was 100% harder on me than it was on him.

16 months old when I went to the hospital to have her brother was the first time I left her over night at our house with my mom. We left her for a few hrs at a time early in the morning if I had to work an eve/night double shift and my husband had to go in to work for 3am.

We are leaving our 3.5 week old with my MIL tonight while we go to a Christmas Party.  It’s not all night, but it’s the first time she will be away from both of us for any amount of time.  Hopefully it goes well and she is good for my MIL!  I’m looking forward to a good steak and a couple beers!  Of course I will miss her though.

My son was 8 months when I left him with my dad and step mum overnight as was my cousin 18th birthday, I texted them every hour making sure he was okay .
