Sex induced labor & dramatic delivery!

Yay! My “due 12/15/17” baby arrived on 12/6/17!

I was 38w5d and went into labor Wednesday morning, 90 minutes after having sex. I woke up to contractions at 130am, went to the hospital around 415am when my contractions were 4-5 mins apart. After 4 hours in triage of being checked and rechecked I was finally admitted around 830-9am @ 4cm. I labored in the bath for almost an hour, I was then checked again and was 7cm. I opted to have them break my water to get things moving. I also opted for no epidural. Within an hour I was pushing and 6 mins later he was born. While pushing his heart rate dropped dramatically so they started flipping me back and forth, and ultimately (and very quickly) used a vacuum to get him out fast. His cord was very tight around his neck and body. It all happened so fast and was slightly scary. Either way, we are all happy and healthy and snuggled up at home!
