Hypothyroidism & Thyroid cysts

Does anybody else have hypothyroidism? A month ago they found a pretty decent sized cyst on my thyroid with calcification. I had a biopsy a couple weeks ago to find out if it’s benign or malignant...I get the test results tomorrow and I’m slightly freaking out. I know cysts can be common but honestly I have the worst medical history/luck. I just can’t imagine having surgery to remove the thyroid , which is treatment if it’s cancer. I have a 11 week old baby and ugh I just dont even know how I could deal lol.
