Testing on Xmas?

Question

Anyone else waiting to test until Xmas morning? I want to so that I can give my hubby and son an unexpected Xmas gift but nervous at the same time. Worries that if it’s negative I’ll be in a sour mood the rest of the day.

I will be testing first thing Christmas morning as long as AF doesn’t show before then. I have told myself over and over that if it is negative it will just be a New Years resolution to get pregnant next year. It will be ok! But if it is positive then it will make the day that much more special.

Me too. I’m actually due AF Christmas Day. I keep picturing me telling our close family and how happy they’ll be after our miscarriage last year and still born this year. I really don’t want to hope

If you can, maybe test the day or so before. That way if it is negative you can deal with it emotionally, and if it's positive you can make a nice arrangement.

I'm due 12/27. I'll prob cave and test on Christmas. although my cycle varies so I don't consider myself late for a few days. I've gone from 25-29 days. so if I'm negative on Christmas I'll hold out hope for a New Year's surprise! also hubby's birthday is in Jan. so if this isn't our month maybe I can give him a bday gift next month! I just try to keep giving myself little ways to see a little something good later!!! it keeps me going!

I want to test Xmas eve morning (I’m due 12/21) but if it comes back how I’m praying it will I won’t tell SO till Xmas night because I don’t want my family to know until I’m 8 wks (they don’t know we’re trying)

I hear ya!! I’m predicted to have AF by Xmas day 😫 Possibly a day or two before. That’s IF my cycle sticks to what it’s been lately. AF has been a real witch as of lately. Can’t help but have wishful thinking this month I can surprise hubby with good news vs. the constant letdowns of the past 1+year. But the part of me that’s used to seeing BFN’s every month doesn’t want to ruin my mood for the holiday 🙁 Keeping you ladies in my thoughts, and sending lots of good vibes and baby dust!

Hey Hun I'm exactly the same my AF is due 19th December so decided if it doesn't come by Christmas Day I will test then but like you I'm worried it'll spoil the rest of the day. Xx
