too big for an average size newborn.  I would stick with a ONE PIECE long sleeper from carter's.  their newborn sizes fit most average sizes newborns.  our daughter was an average 7 lbs 1 Oz and 19 inches long newborn. the stuff in Ur pic would be HUGE on her.

My daughter, 7lbs 5oz, 18 inches long... she didn’t fit into newborn for the first two weeks. And stayed in newborn until about two months. 
My niece (5days younger) wore build a bear clothes for the first little bit.

bring yourself options...my mom brought newborn stuff for me and my nana had to go out and pick up 0 to 3 month clothing. But with my siblings they fit into newborn, and the youngest fit into premie. I plan on bringing one of each, just in case

Depends on size at birth! Some babies come out 6/7 pounds, some 10+! I'm bringing three options, a 7lb and under onesie just in case, a newborn, and 0-3.

My son was 9pounds at birth and he wore a newborn outfit and it fit him big, he wore newborn for 3 weeks. So I’d say that it big for a newborn
