Hey guys. So a few weeks ago I said that I invited this guy I sort of liked to my school Semi. Anyways, his school's semi was last Friday and he brought any other girl. I wasn't expecting him to take me but I was sorta sad about that. And to make things worse, he messaged me last night and goes "were you into me?" so I said that I sort of was. Then he was like "ah ok. I don't want to hurt you and I wanted to tell you before you find out next weekend. {Girl} and I are a thing now." (This weekend we're going to the same party.)

Anyways, I love that he decided to tell me before I found out myself and that he wanted to make sure I wasn't hurt but I really don't know how I'm supposed to feel now. Like I guess I'm happy for him but the thing is, him and the girl both got out of serious relationships about 3 months ago and (I don't know the girl very well) I think he's jumping in too quickly. Literally 2 weeks ago he was complaining to me about how he misses his ex. I don't get it.

I'm seeing him this weekend and am super scared it'll be awkward. What do I do??
