How much weight?

How much weight has everyone gained during their pregnancy? My doctor told me to only gain 30 lbs and I think I have already gained like 20 lbs and I'm only 26 weeks...good lord lol don't even feel like I have gained much weight anywhere else except the belly lol

I gained 14 lbs and my son was almost 7 lbs at birth(he was 34 weeks) About a week after he was born I weighed myself and was 8 lbs less than my pre-pregnancy weight. Same thing with my daughter, gained 13 and she was 8.8 of it-I don’t gain a lot and grow big kids lol.

So far this pregnancy I've lost 16 lbs (15 weeks), last pregnancy I gained 25 lbs total and 10 of those pounds were gained in the last 5 weeks.

Don't worry too much about the scale if you're eating healthy, exercising, and baby is healthy. They want to keep you in that range, because it shows you're not gaining unnecessary fat, but it's ultimately just a guideline. I was told to only gain 20lbs (I was 185/so over weight before ttc), but my baby is doing well, so some doctors (my obgyn cycles the doctors and nurses I see) give me a hard time about my weight- and some are just happy we're both healthy and have no concerns. 🤷🏻‍♀️
