They usually keep it the same from you LMP unless you are unsure of dates or baby measures way off from your dates. LMP is most accurate for most people-not all.

They’ve never changed mine, but they adjusted my sister-in-law’s by one day. I don’t know if she just said they did because of how type A she is, or if her doctor really did adjust the date. One day doesn’t seem like much to me

At my 13 week appointment, baby measured over a week ahead (14w6d versus 13w5d based on LMP). My OB did not move my due date and doesn't plan to. He just talked about me not going over 40 weeks (due to my age). I have my 20 week scan today so we'll see how we measure now. Maybe it was just an early growth spurt!

I was 8w5d according to LMP and baby was measuring 7w6d! So they moved me back to what baby was measuring and said since it was less than a week different they'd move me.. if it was more than a week they would have gone off LMP 🤷🏻‍♀️

They moved mine forward two days based on her measurement. And it matched up with what I was thinking. I used ovulation tests and was pretty sure I ovulated two days late.

When you go for your first scan they'll measure the baby to see if it fits the expected measurement for the age it would be based on your LMP,  usually it would be about right if your cycles are regular but it really depends. I not long had my first scan and my due date was pushed forward as my baby measured a week earlier than expected.
