Daycare teacher gifts?

Question

What is a good/appropriate gift for a daycare teacher? What are you all gifting and what is your budget? My son has 2 teachers, I was going to give them both flowers with a Macy’s gift card in each for like $20 but maybe that’s impersonal? I don’t want to give them stuff they won’t use either.

Yes!! Gift cards! I was a preschool teacher for 8 years and accumulated quite the collection of lotions and candle. The all smelled amazing but you only have so much skin to lotion and hours to burn a candle lol. Starbucks and movie gift cards were always a big hit! 
Either way it is amazing that you are taking the time to recognize and appreciate them for all their hard work! That is truly the best gift (Not trying to sounds cheesy but really.)

I did a $25 Starbucks gift card last year. Will probably do the same this year. My mom’s a teacher aide and gets all kinds of things. Her kids know she loves Disney so they tend to get her a lot of that. And they get her a good bit of candles. The only thing she doesn’t like is food because she has stomach pains so doesn’t eat much, but she gives it to us so I like it lol

Gift cards are lovely, so are treats. I had one parent that gave me a little packet of scented bath salts and a few packets of nice hot chocolate with a card. I really enjoyed that. Anything that could be stress relieving our soothing is great. Teachers love their kids, but it gets tiring after a while and a little TLC is hard to come by.
