Baby really low at 16 weeks

I’m 16 weeks and my baby is sitting super low. Like right above my vagina and I’m not very big yet so when I lay down I just see a lump on my left side and can feel it there all the time. Is anyone else having this issue? I work in dispatch so I’m sitting most of the day and I’m uncomfortable already. I just saw my doctor yesterday and she confirmed it’s baby with the fetal doppler, but we didn’t have an ultrasound so I’m still a little stressed about it.
