A guy friend I had a crush on kept inviting me to hang out with him and his friends. Then when I met up with them we would always end up hanging out a bit away from everybody else. His friends teased us and asked if we were dating and he would say that we are just friends and then get them to leave us alone , shooing them away and so I was only talking to him. Then he started asking me for rides home instead of his friend who usually gave him rides. Then around a year later we didn’t see each other for a month and hardly talked. Then when I saw him again he introduced me a girl as his girlfriend. After that he stopped talking to me and I rarely saw him when with our mutual friends..... STILL trying to figure out if we dated or not because it sure felt like we broke up when he got a girlfriend ( after me not seeing him for a while).

Never dated, but have had sex with a couple of them.
The sex was so bad with one that I ultimately couldn’t even maintain the friendship afterwards because I just couldn’t take him seriously any more. Probably an asshole move, but I was in my mid-20s and, well, an asshole.
Been having sex with another one for the last 8 months or so. I’m not sure what will happen when that stops, but we’re definitely closer as friends right now. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I wouldn’t date him for love or money, though. He’s a MESS.
I think my point is that you need to be prepared to lose the whole relationship if things go south. Not saying it’s inevitable, but it’s definitely a strong possibility.
