After D&C

Okay so I was roughly 11 weeks pregnant when I lost my baby in November. On November 16th I had a D&C; well my boyfriend and I decided right after the bleeding we would try again. I bled for maybe a week on and off give or take a few days. It was mostly brown but there were a few days of pink. But now it’s been almost a month and I’m getting my sense of smell I had when pregnant the first time. Like I could never smell very good but when I was pregnant I could smell everything. But that’s it. Like my boobs don’t hurt like they did and i really want to take like a dollar general test but I’m so scared it will be a negative or that it will be a false positive. So I guess what I’m asking is how long should I wait till I take a test?
