Does anyone's cervix cause spotting?

We haven't had sex since getting pregnant (because of previous loss), but I have checked my cervix a handful of times because I was afraid it was low and not going up. The last two times I very gently checked it (5w3d & 5w5d) I had pink spotting later that day (of course not 100% sure it's related). I'm on the fence about freaking out that I'm miscarrying again and wondering if my cervix is just being super sensitive (I know it's filled with blood vessels, I've just never had this before). Has anyone dealt with this??
