Baby soon?
1. I'm able to wean off my chemo for lupus, so I can start TTC in about 8 months!
.
2. I just found out that my sister and mom expected my husband and I to fail with our NFP and start popping out babies right after we were married (we were young, 20 and 22.... we weren't ready for babies financially!) While it kind of peeves me that they were buying into Catholic stereotypes and not trusting that we really meant it when we said we were waiting for a couple years until at least one of us finished school and got into a career... my sister also said that they were "scared" for us because then school would be harder and had a yada yada. Like we'd drop out and have to take a min wage job and stuff.
.
Apparently now that its been 2.5 years since we got married my sister is now ecstatic and impatient for us to have kids. That it was a horror when it came to 2 years ago, but now she's like "y'all are stable with a nice apartment and enough money to put some in savings at the end of the month (even not being in a career and working min. wage jobs while finishing school), she's totally changed her tune from 2 years ago and is basically yelling at us to make her a niece or nephew lol!
.
Funny how things change! I'll be graduating next term (hopefully) from a certificate program and with an associates degree! (I was aiming for a bachelors before, but health got in the way of school and that career, so I'll have a bunch of upper credit classes that won't ever do anything haha)
.
It might not seem like that much, but graduating with ANY degree, getting a career, and possibly getting pregnant all in next year (2018) just seems really amazing to me! Life is amazing right now it seems, which is great, because 2017 really sucked.
