Nursery color scheme... do we love it or hate it?

I went to Benjamin Moore today, and left with probably close to 100 swatches of pinks and grays... eventually I came up with this combo. What do you all think? I'm throwing accents of gold in there as well.

Being a crazy colour loving person, I think it’s way to bland, and pretty boring. Also brighter colours are better for colourvision development.
