bleeding?!?!

Question

I'm pregnant and I've had quite a bit of bleeding (kinda heavy) I had an emergency scan Thursday and everything was okay but I'm still bleeding, should I be worried?

I'm 7 weeks today , unfortunately I might be having miscarriage ,
 I started bleeding 4 days ago went dr ultrasound was normal but he said I might miscarry because I'm bleeding , every day It was getting worse , I am on a bed rest and first two days blood was only after going to the bathroom when wiping ( sorry to be gross ) but this last 2 days I have period like cramps and more blood coming out with peeing dark red with clots , I called the doctor and he told me most likely I'm having a miscarriage now and give it a time it will stop , I was kind of disappointed that I did not go and check on ultrasound but I have apt in 3 days so I'll know for sure if I miscarried. 
Lot of ppl say if I'm having miscarriage it will be heavy bleeding like I need to wear pads, and it will be very painful . Blood is only coming out after getting up and peeing , I do have period like cramps but
