my ex won’t leave me alone

i blocked him on almost everything and now he’s texting my mom almost everyday asking her how i’m doing? should i message him and tell him to leave us alone? or just block him from texting or calling either of us? last night he managed to message me on facebook a thumbs up. i had him block but ended up unblocking him cause i wanted a fresh slate so now i’ve deactivated my facebook until i can block him again. it’s so annoying. i told him several times i’m not getting back with him. but it seems like he thinks there’s still a chance.
