How did you announce at work?

Question

My colleagues and I are all pretty friendly so I'd like to do something fun to tell everyone... if they can't figure it out by my barf face and multiple bathroom trips. Suggestions welcome!

I bought a box of donuts and just left them in the break room with this sign. Got the funniest reactions all day from my coworkers

I told some of my really close coworkers by saying "So we got some news this weekend..." and one immediately said "You're pregnant!?" so that was easy.  I told my department head by letting her know I would probably need to miss some time for more doctors appointments,  she had to let the principal know for safety reasons and eventual maternity leave. Coworker from part one accidentally outed me at lunch one day to several other colleagues (I wasn't mad, it was actually really funny.  I didn't have a reason to keep it secret at that point anymore, I just hadn't bothered to tell some of them). Then principal announced the 4 of us who are expecting at our faculty meeting last week, so that took care of the rest.

I worked at a very small animal rescue, total of 5 employees. I hag to share right away because I primarily worked with feral cat colonies. All I had to say was "I peed on a sick!" and we were doing that happy crying dance! It was totally awesome!

I brought in munchkins from Dunkin Donuts and attached a an ultrasound picture and a note saying, “Some munchkins from my munchkin!” I also included the due date (month and year). Everyone loved the treat and it made it an easy way to ease into the information! I left them in the break room so everyone found out throughout the day and knew by lunch time!

My boss looked at me and was like your pregnant! We had just found out two days before 🤷🏼‍♀️ I guess I was glowing or something 😂 ✨
