Baby girl will be seven months Tuesday.

At night, often around the time baby girl wants to nurse to sleep, I have to hand her to daddy so I can prep for work the next day (clean pump parts, etc). Often, since she’s so tired and wants me, she’ll cry inconsolably. Mind you, my husband won’t get up and walk w her or anything really aside from getting annoyed.

Tonight when I went to grab her from him, he said, ‘why’d we have to get the kid with autism?’

Now, ignoring the jerkiness of the statement (of which there is much!), is that a sign of autism?

She is a happy smiley baby otherwise (especially w me). We just spent all day with a bunch of other babies and adults and she went to everyone and was charming.

And he is alone w her one day a week and she doesn’t cry like that.

What do you guys think?

I can’t believe how quickly and forcefully my mama bear instinct kicked in. I grabbed her away from him so fast.

**im aware of my husband’s jerky tendencies. I’d rather not focus on them in this post, ha.
