First ultrasound??

I'm going for my first ever ultrasound today 12/18/17 to hear the heartbeat and I'm so nervous because I can't believe I'm 7 weeks pregnant...
So scared I won't hear anything and the anxiety and stress is killing me so no sleep for me 😩😩😩
Anyone else have these fears???

I had my first US today too - I was very nervous but everything was fine!! So cool to see our little peanut on screen, it made it feel very real!

Welcome to motherhood! 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ you will always stress! Everything has always been fine for me and I was the same way, but it's just part of loving that little human inside you so much! Once you hear that heartbeat you will be happy for a few days... then you'll start worrying about it again. Then your next scan comes and you'll feel good for a while and then you worry again. And then baby is born and you are good for a while until you are worried something is wrong... etc. Never ending! 😂 I'm sure everything will work out fine! Try and get a nap in and just stay hydrated for your appointment :) good luck!

Yes I was this exact same way!! You will feel so much better after you see its tiny heart beating but until then remember that the odds are high that everything will be fine - you’ve made it this far!! Enjoy today, it’s the start of a wild ride ❤️

I had my first ultrasound a little after 8 weeks and there wasn’t a heartbeat yet. At my 12 week appointment it was beating loud and clear. Early on, it’s rare you hear a heartbeat unless you’re farther along than you think.
