My baby is about to be 4 months on the 24th. She had her vaccinations and turned around and came down with bronchiolitis and an ear infection. She’s also teething. I’ve given her everything under the sun. She’s gotten better with her cold, but she traded in liking the bottle. Y’all my daughter bit me twice today. The first time I could take it. The second time I cried like a child. I’m over it. I’ll pump. But I’m not breastfeeding anymore. Before I get the moms that beg me to go ahead anyways. My daughter has been gumming me down so long and so bad my nipples are swollen. She also like to get distracted & pull one of these numbers ( see picture ) I’ve been using nipple balm and it’s not truly worked. I showed them to the nurse today and she said “good god mom, bless you.” My nipples are cracked , and every time she nurses it feels worse. I know she’s gonna hate me for forcing the bottle on her. But it’s about that time y’all.. I just don’t know what to do. How do I get her to choose the bottle. She’s a stubborn little angel, she gets super fussy & throws a tantrum. But sometimes she goes for it. I have been exclusively breastfeeding her since she got sick which was about three weeks ago. She’s gotten better but it’s still been rough. I’d rather pump that formula feed as I am all for the boob. But... this is a desperate time. I really appreciate any feedback for any of these issues.
