Okay so I'm dying to share these with someone! My husband is deployed, left when our daughter was just shy of 4 months old and he won't be back until after her 1st birthday. We are fortunate to have the ability to talk most days via FaceTime. But, I digress. I wanted to do something to surprise him as he is so hard to shop for and even harder to surprise. But here outside of Dallas, there is a photography studio that teams up with a local charity that does fabulous work with kids in the area. They donate all of their sitting fees to the charity and although their packages are VERY expensive, you get a free portrait with tour sitting fee. Not just a print, these things are prints on a hard, sturdy material and made to last. And the studio spends an average of 3 hours editing the magic into each photo. They truly are works of art! For the first time ever, the organization offered Christmas portrait sessions, by invite only as the time would be limited. We were blessed to have been chosen after applying. The studio wanted to be able to help me surprise my husband as a belated Christmas gift. Well, I got the pictures back and am dying to share my beautiful little fairy! He doesn't have any idea we had these done. I'm sending copies in his next care package but I just have to share! The secret is killing me!
