Braxton Hicks?

Question

What do Braxton Hicks feel like? I've had a few short bursts of period like cramping around my pelvic region but I don't know if that's Braxton Hicks or just things stretching and expanding...
I feel silly even asking this but this is my first pregnancy and I really have no clue what I'm watching for there! Everything with this pregnancy has been pretty average and healthy so far.

I just had them for the first time yesterday! (That I've noticed) lol first time moms usually don't recognize them but I've been on the look out lol! Mine didn't hurt at all just made my whole tummy get really tight and rock solid. Lasted about a minute each :) but no pain or anything like that! I wasn't sure if I'd be able to tell but it was obvious :)

Mine start in my back same feeling as kidney stones then my stomach is hard as a rock everywhere I can usually breath through them while someone rubs my back.

I remember I had them for about two weeks before birth with my first and it literally felt like my belly was hugging the baby it would just feel so tight no pain just a sort of tightness and felt hard to the touch

For me I don't feel them. No pain or anything. I can touch the top of my belly and it fills hard like a rock and that's how I know I'm having them.
