In my opinion, it works just fine for stable adults who are capable of dealing with an unexpected pregnancy. But it is way too risky for teens or adults who are not in a position to handle the possible outcome.

3+ years as only source of bc and no babies or chances we might have one. I think it works fine for us. We trust one another and are in tune with each other's bodies.

It is not a good idea. You can get pregnant off of his pre-cum(even when he doesnt finish inside of you). It is too risky if you arent wanting to get pregnant.

You're always playing with fire. I agree with another commenter that it's great for couples who could handle an unexpected pregnancy. But anyone who isn't ready for children should consider the many other more protective options :)

The pull out method is not birth control. U can get pregnant! That is exactly how I got pregnant almost 14 years ago!! Go to planned parenthood, they can give u birth control, no charge!

Works for me so far, been 1.5 years and no scares. In a committed relationship and unplanned pregnancy would be manageable for us

No matter what anyone says the bottom line u need to know and take into consideration is that you CAN get pregnant this way. Do what you will with it.

In my opinion, as long as you are both honest and really good about pulling out and are adults in case something should happen, I don't see a problem. I have done it for7+ years and we didn't get pregnant until we tried to.
