My boyfriend and I are both 16 and think we are ready for sex but how do you know if your read y for something like this. Is it easy?! What do wee need to know. Yes we would use condoms !

You're 16... You're not ready! Condoms aren't 100% effective. And honestly the fact that you're going to a message forum to ask advice to see if you're ready for sex should prove to you that sex is something that you should NOT be thinking about. Sex is not a teenage sport it creates life and until you are ready to be a grown up and be responsible for another human being while being responsible for yourself keep your panties on and your grades up.  That should be your focus.

Please don't take this as being rude, but when you don't have to ask an app if you are ready to have sex, is probably when you are ready. If you have to ask, then you probably aren't quite there yet. Sex changes everything, and is a huge responsibility. Take your time :)

Condoms are not always effective. I lost my virginity at 17 and I was in no way, shape or form ready. It's a huge decision!!! I wish I could have taken it back and gave my virginity to my husband.

You will absolutely know when you are ready to be intimate with him. I'm not going to say you shouldn't have sex because you're only 16 because I am too and recently lost my virginity too. You will feel when the moment is right but make sure you have condoms because when you don't it stresses you out royally! I know this for a fact (not responsible I know) and it happens. I don't think asking people you have never met if they think you're ready because we don't know you. All I can say is be safe, be smart and have fun!

I agree with what most others are saying, but wanted to stress the fact of educating yourself more about sex before even considering doing it! Go to the gynecologist for an exam & talk about starting birth control. Talk to your mom &/or any other older female who you're comfortable with & who's a good role model. They'll let you know what's best for you, even though it may not be what you want to hear!

I'm just going to let you know I had a baby at 15 because I thought I was ready & mature enough. & honestly, I just wanted away from my mom. Just think about it as much as you can. If you truly feel you are ready, talk to your gynecologist about birth control and stock up on condoms. USE BIRTH CONTROL AND CONDOMS. I cannot stress this enough. Also, learn your body. Find what turns you on, what feels comfortable. Take it slow and enjoy yourself. Take it slow with him, savor each kiss, get in the moment (not too much in the moment that you forget a condom if you do keep going). Don't trust that he's going to pull out. Be prepared for the consequences. Research family planning clinics to find help just in case. Also, talk to your mother if you can, she's going to find out anyway.

Put most importantly, realize that what you are doing is truly only something you and he can decide when both of you are ready.
