Doing at home TTC tip anyone?

Hello everyone! I’m new and I just love how this site has chats like this! My wife and I have been together for 5yrs and we’re going to TTC. Doesn’t anyone have any dos or don’ts. We have our OBGYN picked out and we have a bank we like but would be open to new ideas. Thanks in advance!

I was told by this sure to purchase soft cups. after you inseminate you leave the cup in for 12 hours it while you sleep and it helps keep the sperm up close to the cervix. definitely do opk (ovulation tests) it is best to know the exact day you ovulate. also when you do inseminate try to do it the day of ovulation and the two days after. I know that is allot but this will be my first month ttc in a week actually. U have received allot of help from these ladies. so please if you have any questions I would love to pass on what I have learned. feel free to message me anytime.

My wife and I found a donor online using knowndonorregistry.com at first I was freaked out but we met a guy who was actually really nice and straight forward. We track ovulation using opk’s and we inseminate the two days before ovulation and the day of ovulation. We are using the mosie syringe which is made for at home insemination and this month we used Pre-Seed. This is our second month ttc and currently in the two week wait so hoping for a bfp.
