Should people raise their children in a religion even if they don't believe in anything?

I would tell any child I have religion is like ancient science. It's been debunked and is no longer relevant, but here are some books on which religions were where and what they believed. 
If you need a good scary bed time story, read any stories from the Bhagavad Gita. OR pull up any Ancient Greek stories.

this is just my personal opinion but all religion should be illegal until the age of 18. most people are only the religion they grew up with because parents or friends or other family have indoctrinated them into it. if their parents or someone older teaching them about it had not pressured them or "taught" them to be that way, they probably would not choose it for themselves and most religions are fear based. make people afraid to die, make them afraid of the concept that every person isn't exactly the same. feed on any fear that already exists. divide them, beat them down, take their money and pay no taxes.

Definitely not. Christianity and other religions have enough hypocrites as it is. I grew up without it and believe I have a finely tuned moral compass.
Once they were older and began asking questions I would be there for them if needed as unbiased as possible as they explored and sorted out their own beliefs. I firmly believe knowledge is power and the best way to make an informed decision about something so personal.

I don't think any child should be indoctrinated in a religion, it should be their choice.

So I’m actually outside of the norm. I was raised Agnostic, and became Wiccan. The faith spoke to me.
That being said, most of my life is still spent as an Agnostic. I do not engage as a Wiccan when talking about politics. 
I am also going to be raising my children without faith. I may, if asked by them, explore different faiths with them (if they want to, say, go to a mosque but not alone) but i have no regrets on my religious upbringing and I 💯 will raise my child the same.
