I wanted to have a natural delivery but things didn’t go that way for me. I came to the hospital at 10p and my induction process started at 12 midnight I was just at 1cm. I was having contractions and back labor that hurts I handled them well through the night. My night nurse came and check on me I was still at 1cm and she give me the second medication the contractions were painful now along with the back pain.7a my doctor came and the night nurse left and I got a different nurse my doctor checked me I was 3cm and she broke my water. I had liquid coming out of me and my contractions are now close together and the pain were crazy. I handled the pain for about two hours and requested for epidural because I realize that my labor was going to be a long one since my water didn’t break naturally and the pains were killer pains. This other nurse came in to give me the epidural I was having contractions minutes apart. My nurse told to turned my back to the other nurse and move closer to her. Mind you I was having contractions trying to keep myself under control and this nurse that came held the contraction belt that is on me and started pulling while I was having contractions I told her please don’t pull me, when the pain subsided I moved my back closer to her and followed her instructions but she told me to relaxed my shoulders but I couldn’t my body was reacting the another contraction and she said you need to cooperate or I will leave and she pushed both my shoulders down and I was hurting and I told her to leave and I told her as a nurse u need to be patient and understanding and if u can’t I don’t want u touching me. My nurse explain to me when she left that they will need to do that right when I’m contractions or not and she got different nurse they move walked me through. My nurse held my hand and helped me through the epidural and contractions. The other lady that did the epidural I met before she was super sweet, she let me know when she was touching me and explain things as she does them which I really appreciated unlike the First Lady. Idk if I was wrong or rude to the other lady but if u r a care taker you should be caring, understanding and patient. I worked with people with disabilities and seniors for three years. Imagine if they are angry 😡 and I get angry, who would help whom. I love the delivery team I have. Everyone pray for me I am 7cm dilate at the moment waiting on our baby girl to arrive.BTW this is a first time experience (having a baby) first pregnancy ended in mc.
