Depo shot good or bad?

I think I’m really getting effected by this shot but I have no other option for my endo pains

I was on the depo for 4 years and it fucked my body up, I also have endo and it only helped because I did not have a period or cramps those 4 years. I recently got off in December of last year to start TTC and it’s been a year and I’m still trying to conceive. I gained 50+ pounds and it took a toll on my body. Everyone’s experience is different but I highly suggest a different method.

I hated being on depo (it was my only option for my pain too) but I got off it because, 1:it made me a crazy person. It seriously made me throw fits like a 6 year old, not being able to control my anger at all and 2:it just is not natural for your body and made me feel so off, like I wasn't myself anymore. I've been off it since August and am now TTC and I feel so much better being off it.

The depo shot made me bleed for months straight and when I got off of it it made my periods irregular and heavy. It took me almost a year and a half to get a normal period back. Would NOT recommend.

I loved depo while I was on it.. however, now that I’ve been off of it for almost a year 1/2 I HATE it, it totally destroyed my body. It ruins ttc, and I gained 30 pounds instantly without changing anything. I wouldn’t NEVER do it again.

I had the Depo shot one time and I began bleeding for six months straight, heavy for the first four. This is just my experience but I never received the shot again, switched to an IUD but it does not compare to the pain control the pill provided me with.

I say bad. I did not like it and I didn't like any of the side effects that I started hearing more about. It was also my last resort for my pain too. But I have learned to live with it(but I also have very mild symptoms for how much Endo I have)
