Do you feel and see your IUD string in your vagina when placed? just want to know

i just got my iud about a week ago and yes I can feel the string if I try but I cant see it because the strings are just barely outside of my cervix.

I've never checked but in some positions my husband can feel it during sex

You should be able to feel the stings coming out of your cervix. You’re supposed to check for them periodically to make sure they are still there. Your partner will likely notice them from time to time during intercourse.

when i had mine, and i checked my cervix, i could feel maybe 1/8 of an inch of the string hanging out of my cervix.  but thats about it.
