Is it possible to get STI or STD from public toilets, I might sound really stupid and the answer is super obvious, but it’s always wandered my mind.

They say it's possible but highly unlikely

It’s unlikely. Most STD’s and STI’s can’t live on a toilet seat for any amount of time. It’s too cold, the bacteria/virus’s die.
That being said, I don’t rub myself all over the toilet seat so I’m not in the least bit concerned about it.
And you can always hover.

I mean, I don't rub my vag all over the public toilet so I don't typically worry about it. I'm sure I've shared a toilet seat in public with people who have stds and I've never had one. It's highly unlikely to happen.
