Swelling advice?

I can be standing for just a few hours! And It gets this bad. Normal? 34 weeks and 4 days.

I had the same and all my pregnancy my OB was saying it’s ok. Eventually I developed preeclampsia and gave birth at 36w 4d. So be careful. By the way I was wearing compression tights all my pregnancy, it helped!

my feet and hands were JUST like this after 35wks!! It felt like my feet were going to explode and I could barely walk! It was normal at the time, as it would come and go, but then it stayed one day and never left, unfortunately I ended up developing preeclampsia in week 38 along with gestational hypertension out of the blue 🤦🏻‍♀️😑 so I was induced. I had had perfect bp my entire pregnancy even through the swelling. Elevate your feet higher than your heart, drink TONS of water (I drank over 85oz a day of ice water), and take it easy!

My feet and ankles feel jiggly when I walk also? Like jello flopping around?

I got It checked today. But Is It suppose to feel real tight to the touch and like It’s going to explode? 😞 that’s how they feel If I touch my ankles. Thanks everyone for the advice. I go to the doctor every week now atleast.

My ankles and calves swelled the day before I went into labor. I researched and found that magnesium pills help. Check with your doctor to make sure supplements are okay and the swelling is normal.

have you checked your blood pressure? call your ob just to be safe.

I’m not sure but i think you should call your advice nurse because swelling like that could be preeclampsia it can be dangerous

You need to drink more water. But ask your dr also because that could be high blood pressure.

This happened to me too, but definitely something to bring up to your doctor or midwife just in case. Keep your feet up whenever possible for as long as possible. Drink lots of water and take it easy - final stretch! ;)
