Skin tags during pregnancy?

I found a new bump in between my upper thighs tonight that I had never seen before. After sending my mom some pictures (she’s a nurse; I’ll spare you guys 😂) she says it’s a skin tag. After some google research these seem to be really common during pregnancy. Has anyone else had skin tags? Is there any way to avoid them/make them decrease in size that is safe for pregnancy? I just don’t want to get more; pregnancy causes enough changes!

Yes!!! I've gotten 6 and have never had one in my life. I put frankincense essential oil on them with a q-tip and they fall right off in a few days

Yup! I goy mini skin tags on my neck and some on my chest (about 5-6 total) from pregnancy. There is s product to remove them, but I’m not sure what it’s called. I’d google it :)

You can cut them off with surgical curved scissors. Doesn’t really hurt but you can rub  an ice cube on them first to numb the area. Prep for some blood by having bandaids ready.
