i think i am miscarrying

I got my HCG levels tested the 23rd and they were at 10 I got them test yesterday because I had sharp pains in my stomach they were at 9 the doctor said that it could have been calibrated differently and that's why. I started bleeding yesterday it's not heavy but more like a light flow and it's red I haven't passed any tissue or clots (or at least I haven't noticed any) I get my levels checked again tomorrow. is there anyway that this is normal and I'm not miscarrying or am I getting my hopes up?
