Yes I fell in love with a person he told me we met at the wrong time, we dated for a while I broke up with him then he realized he loved me and cried a lot I didn’t talk to him for 6 months but I truly loved him so I gave him a chance after 6 months and didn’t put up with any BS now we are still in love, married and expecting!!(: but it honestly doesn’t happen to everyone we knew we were soulmates our relationship just started kinda tough and during the six months apart we learned to love ourselves. But if he is saying you guys won’t work I would say leave someone else will appreciate you...

Me and my now husband almost started dating when we were 13/14 he asked me and then I turned him down  fast forward to when we were 16/17 he asked me again and I said yes that time around. Now been together nearly 7 years and married for almost 1 now we have a beautiful little baby on the way due in May :)

Yes it can happen - my first real love didn’t fully reciprocate my feelings when we were younger but we were such great friends. 
We lost touch for a number of years then we met up again really randomly thru mutual friends and he decided I was the one all along... after that, we lived together, he had become a raging alcoholic in the time we lost touch but hid it from me til we were living together and then we broke up and he kept trying to get me back for years and now he is gone (passed away sadly in 2015 I believe by suicide but can’t get confirmation). 
That’s the short version... there wasn’t a happy ending with it but it can happen that someone isn’t ready now and later on they realize they are ready.
Now I’ve been with current bf almost 6 years and we have a baby and one on the way, so I got my happy ending with a different person.
