Anyone have HPV and what did you do about it?!

See a doc for sure... I had HPV that led to pre-cancerous cell development requiring two colposcopies and removal of the cells. There isn't anything they can do to treat it but it's important to determine what strain you have as the majority of cervical cancer is caused by HPV and some strains cause genital warts. It's said it clears entirely within 3 years as long as you don't contract another strain during that time.

I had hpv that turned into cervical cancer. I ended up having two surgeries to have the cancerous cells removed. I highly recommend you go see a doctor and see what they recommend. Unfortunately these cells go from 0-1000 in nothing flat and can go from stage 1 to stage 4 fast. Take the doctors advice and take care of yourself. Hopefully it clears up and you don’t have the experience I did but only the doctor can tell you if you are in the clear.

Hello :) HPV is usually left to clear on its own as there is no cure for it and yoyr immune system fights it. They usually send you for a coloscopy and do biopsys & look at your cells closer if this is found when doing a snear. If low grade CIN1 cells they will recall you within a year for another smear to see if its cleared up. if high grade CIN they will remove them and re test later. Dont worry, Everyone gets it at somepoint in their life. speak to your gp xxx
