Zero waste/less waste baby registry.

We have a "Babylist" registry and would prefer to also keep our baby waste to a minimum. Does it seem appropriate to put this note at the beginning of the registry:

"We have been adjusting to a less waste lifestyle and would love if our friends and family uses this registry more like a list of the items that are able to fit in our small space. We would love some improvisation on most gifts to allow for:

1. Secondhand/hand-me-ups

2. Sustainable materials (wood, glass, cotton, etc.)

3. Handmade items

4. Supporting small/local businesses

The only exceptions would be the crib, car seat, and stroller (for safety reasons) and would also like to keep any and all colors and patterns gender neutral to be able to use for multiple children, o more easily give away as "hand-me-ups" to give these items second, third, fourth, and so on future lives!"

Does that sound ok?
