No period (long but please help!)
Hi ladies I'm really freaking out. I've had my period since I was 12 (18 now) and I've NEVER missed a period. The most "active" I am is oral and fingering/hand jobs, but my boyfriend and I are super careful an make sure that he fingers me and all before I do anything to him or if it does end up the other way around we wash our hands thoroughly and wait a while to make sure that I do not come into contact with his sperm.
I've been on birth control pills since early July and never missed a period with it. Until now. It's not exactly missed yet but I only have one more inactive pill before I start a new pack. I've had all symptoms of my regular period except they've been a little worse this month. The only thing I haven't had is sore breasts and a massive migraine. I'm extremely concerned and I don't know what to do! I'm terrified to bring it up to anyone in my family because they might immediately assume I'm having (penetrative) sex with my boyfriend, but I'm not! I really don't think I'm pregnant because the only time my boyfriend and I fooled around before this period started was two days before it was supposed to start and we were very careful as we have been.
Please I don't know what's going on! I usually start by my second pill but I'm almost on my fourth! I know some people skip periods on the pill, but I haven't before and I'm really freaking out that something's wrong. I know stress makes it worse, but I wasn't stressing until now. My fourth pill is my last inactive pill, so I just don't know what to think. I haven't even spotted. Nothing but the symptoms. Please help. I'm just terrified that something's wrong.
Before birth control my periods started to become a little irregular, I would have them but they would be late or early. So could it just be that? They've been on time since July so I'm really confused. I could really use some help!!
EDIT
So I have just started my period 🙌🏼 BUT Is it normal for birth control pills to make you start late when you've been on them this long? I know for the first three months it's completely normal to be irregular, but what about since july? Just curious so I don't freak out as bad next month😂
Thanks ladies!
