Will I need a c section? Am I in labour! At hospital 3 days now

I come into hospital 3 days ago due to having pinkish discharge. (The midwife told me to come in as I’m high risk)

They monitored me and done an examination on the CTG was showing I was having contractions 2 in 10 minutes sometimes 1. They done an examination with a speculum and said my cervix was closed but I had a lot of brown blood.

The doctor was concerned due to risk of either early labour as I’m 36 weeks or my placenta detaching?

So they admitted me that day for observation. Since I have been having on and of bleeding including brown and pink and the midwife said one sounded like my show? I had a really long thick like slime discharge? Clear with brown and pink in?

I am still having contractions they come and go.

I had a c section 5 years ago and have been having pain along my scar the doctor isn’t concerned after examination and has no intentions on delivering my baby.

But is hesitant on letting me go home?

I’m very confused been here 3 days 2 nights.

Any thoughts or advice?
