Military doesn't give unless you take annual leave.
And even then, they give you 6 weeks of convalescent leave, so if you go into labor, you may lose annual leave days...

Working until my due date. Only not working past it because it's not fair to my patients and at almost 39 weeks I'm just getting too uncomfortable driving (I have an hour commute).

My last day working was my due date and I only stoped because I'd gone into labor the day before and stalled it by stressing over whether it was  the real thing. Midwife said I needed to be home relaxing. It took 6 days for labor to start again and I was in quasi-labor most of that time.

I didn't work with my first because I was 16 but this one I plan on working until I go into labor. But I'm also a receptionist at a nursing home. And my hospital is around the corner from my work and my doctor is across the street. So I'm comfortable with staying.
