TMI Heavy vaginal bleeding with no cramps

I had the depo shot 4/16, had a very light period the normal time when I would usually have a period. Didn't have ilsex until 5/16 which was my wedding night and we've been having it quite a bit since then but today I started bleeding like a period but no cramping. It's dark red blood with some clots which is normal for my period but it's not time for my period and I'm not even cramping any idea what this could be? Is it depo related?
