So I am due with baby #2 very soon and we did not find out the gender this time. We have a wonderful son and we are really thinking this one is going to be a girl. We have been decided on a girls name for a really long time and I love it so much but just decided on our boy name last week. Anyways some friends of ours (they don’t live in the same town but we see them quite a bit especially in the summer months and have lots of mutual friends) just had their baby today and named her the name we had picked for a girl and even the same middle initial 😩 we had absolutely no idea. Would it be awful for us to still use our girl name if it’s a girl? Even the same middle initial (middle name is a family name)? I’m sure they would think we stole their name but we really didn’t, we’ve been decided on this name since the beginning of this pregnancy! Im literally broken hearted over the situation and even cried like a lot when my husband called to tell me. Dang pregnancy hormones!
