Why have I not felt movement yet??

Question

I’m almost 17 weeks pregnant with baby #2 and I haven’t felt anything. Should I be worried? I have a Doppler and baby’s heartbeat is fine but no flutters or movement yet. I believe I felt my daughter around 17 weeks. Thanks in advance!

No u should not be worried lots of women don't feel baby until 20 weeks u may have a anterior placenta it takes longer to feel baby. I felt my first (the flutters at 13 weeks) this one flutters at 9 weeks I am 16.2 now and I can feel more so movements. drink something cold or some chocolate milk or orange juice lay on left side and stay very very still and see if u can feel anything I bet u will!

Sometimes it depends on the placenta as well. If it’s in the front your likely to not feel movement for a long time, Until it’s way bigger. Hope this helps

I felt my son flutter around at 12 weeks but with this one, I'm almost 15 weeks and I feel no flutters yet! I think I've felt the baby roll over but not really sure. Definitely makes me worry but I'm trusting that it's just a different pregnancy with a different baby so things will be a bit different than with my son.

I am in the same boat as you. With my first I felt her around 18/19 weeks maybe. It was definitely before the 20 week scan. This second one, I am 17 weeks today, and I think I felt something yesterday and this morning. But I’m hoping it happens soon!

Turned out I have an anterior placenta so was keeping me from feeling major movements from baby girl! Starting to feel now at 19 weeks!
