I’m 17 years old. My mom tells me to grow up but she’s the one treating me like a child. For Christmas, she & my stepdad went half & half to give me an iPhone 8 as a gift. I went to work with her (cleaning houses) & asked if she was going to pay me, she told me “ok, I’m going to pay you 20, then you’re going to pay 400 that the phone cost”

Umm, it was a gift? You don’t give someone something and then charge them for it unless you sold it to them.

Then, when she gets mad she’ll take it away and it’s really starting to piss me off to the point where I want to return it to her and go back to my old phone. I think the only reason she feels the right to take it away is because she gave it to me because she didn’t give me my old phone and never did she take it away. Im honestly getting tired of her 💩
